Split Rock Lighthouse Beacon Lighting
Hello All-
This weekend marks the 32nd anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald on Nov 10,1975. In rememberance of this this event, the Minnesota Historical Society is having a lighting ceremony on Saturday 10th from 12:00 noon to 6:00pm. Superior Scuba Center will have a gathering as well. We will be diving the Madiera on Saturday the 10th during the lighting ceremony. We plan on meeting on location at 12:00 noon. Our group will be tailgating and we hope that you will stop by and say hi. I cannot think of a better reason to get out and dive the Madiera. We hope to see you there.  Keep in mind, parking passes will be needed. See you then Deano

Sure hope to get up there on Saturday! Maybe even get over to the dive site...Husband may be resistant to this part of the idea!
