Ok its an odd question - TheGuppy - 11-13-2009 So the other thread about the clicking sound gave me the courage to ask! I have noticed that when I dive I can hear a faint sizzling sound. Sounds like very faint bacon frying (too bad it doesnt have the wonderful smell too). I am assuming that because I can hear it in both fresh and saltwater it something to do with the pater and pressure playing tricks on my eardrums?? And if it matters I have never had problems equalizing. Am I crazy? Re: Ok its an odd question - mattd - 11-13-2009 Do you have one of those regs designed to let a continuous stream of little bubbles out? I think Sherwood's do that. Perhaps you are hearing that? Re: Ok its an odd question - arcFlash - 11-13-2009 Did you push any buttons? Re: Ok its an odd question - TheGuppy - 11-13-2009 Nope its not the reg (Zeagle). Im a boy.................... we push every damn button just to see what they do! Re: Ok its an odd question - mattd - 11-13-2009 Bacon! Re: Ok its an odd question - LKunze - 11-13-2009 I've noticed clicking underwater as well. Much less so in freshwater. In saltwater I've found it to be really noisy because there is so much sea life which I suspect is making the noises. Re: Ok its an odd question - joekarels - 11-14-2009 Matt, nice flow chart. Where did you fid it? Re: Ok its an odd question - flyboy65 - 11-14-2009 I just googled bacon flow chart, and found it... Re: Ok its an odd question - Anderson - 11-14-2009 If you are diving from a boat it could be the sonar your hearing. |
