moving from california back to minnesota. i will be in the fargo moorhead area. i am hoping to find some spearo buddies.

I moved from CA to the midwest about 15 years ago and thought my spearfishing days were done until I discovered the clear lakes here in the twin cities area- even though I always got fish in the kelp beds of the Pacific, I never got so many big fish in one day as Popo and I typically get at Tonka- big time fun!! Not so great to eat, though

Keep us posted as to how you're doing finding fish next summer in your area.

Apparently Minnesota spearfishing is kind of unheard of by most people, something we don't seem to mind!

We didn't get in the spearing last summer that we usually do, but hopefully we'll be doing more this next summer. Send me a pm or email when we get into the spearing season.
