Freeflow
I managed to grab a shot of a diver experiencing a freeflow at -100ft in Lake Wazee. This diver fortunately had a pony bottle with him and he was able to safely ascend to the surface. He arrived at the surface with an empty tank on his back.
The freeflow started while the diver was attempting to raise the 100ft dive buoy that was laying on the bottom by the wall dive site. The buoy was successfully raised. Anyone else have a recent freeflow story? by , on Flickr by , on Flickr

RE: Freeflow
That looks like an Apex so it's not believable. I think you photoshopped it to create human drama.
Ask your doctor if getting off your ass is right for you.

RE: Freeflow
Haha, it was pretty dramatic to catch a freeflow on my camera. Thankfully this was an experienced diver with both a pony bottle and two buddies. I don't know if this was an Apex reg. I imagine that if you take almost any reg down 100ft in 38deg water and hold the purge valve open for 30 sec you will begin to experience a free flow.
