Thailand = have I died and gone to heaven???

Hi. I haven't posted for awhile.. and I have a bit of excuse.. all I can say is.  I MUST HAVE DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN!!!!!

Thailand has been the BEST I have seen.  Soon on my way home and will have full report or at least a minute or two (or hour) of video to share when I get it together.

My wife and I are having a blast.  we have found what is so far the best snorkeling we have seen of all our trips.  I have been 1 meter to 20 meters on a breath.. and have seen sea-rays, cuda, tuna, shark, 100's of different reef fish, fish we've never seen.. the reefs are fantastic, coral is great, tsunami recovery has been fast and has even improved some of the dive sights. weather is hot! (geez, kinda reminds me of Minnesota)

we're soon on our way home (been here almost a month).  traveled a lot of the country before settling on the underwater world.  what a trip!

The place we have found now has caused us to change all the last of our travel plans.. and we're staying here.. in a tent.. not for everyone, but it's the best!

Sounds like a good time. Hope you made time to see the giant Buddhas and the Thai fights at one of the stadiums.

I was going to take in a thai fight but the stadium wasn't air conditioned... and it was hot hot humid humid so passed.
did see some big buddha.  and the beach scenery was sometimes top notch.  great sand and palms (what'dya think??)

Got some great video a day or so ago of a large leopard shark while at the similans.  just great!!  maybe only 1/2 minute or so but just cruisin' by.  boring everyone I see with it.  I've seen it twenty times but could set it on a loop and watch it all day.  We really had some great snorkeling!  And just a great trip.  No one else on that particular trip had a camera so now I have everyone's email addresses, they want copies.  Plus, I guess they had not sighted leopard sharks at that particular island so even more of a treat (it was our last dive of the trip).  It was so good to spend time with like minded people!  Scuba'ers and snorkel'ers.

Touring Seoul Korea today and catching a flight home later this afternoon.  I'll be working on the vid as soon as I get back.
