About 5-7 miles east of Stillwater in Wisconsin.

We just got back. There were 5 of us diving. Lonnie, Eric, Steve(ArcFlash) Dan G and myself.

Nice day, cold water. Water temps around 40. Vis?, well, it's got get better. Maybe 36-37"!

Ahh...c'mon Dan it wasn't quite that bad. Wink

I'm guessing it was at least 5 feet in most places, maybe a little better on the east side of the lake following the line off of the scoop shovel. Definitely not up to par for Perch that's for sure. Typically the viz is 12 to 15 feet this time of year. In years past it's even been 20+ feet of viz this time of year but it does fluctuate at Perch quite a bit for some reason...more so than most lakes I've been in.

I usually judge vis in buddy lengths and it was at least one but not much more. I'll go with 5-7 feet as an average but needing my light, at 38, to see the bottom only 2-3 feet below me was disappointing.

The up side is I finally got to see the bucket.
