Question of the day
What skills and abilities do you think that you should
have before you would apply for a opening as a PSD ? and how many dives logged. and how many hours of bottom time? What kind of sports did you play. How much free time do you have? grumpie.......... |

I'd say that you should have at least 50 logged dives,
at least 30 hrs on bottom, what difference would sports have, I'll guess Jai-Alai? free time...as in can you make it to training and actual PSD dives? |

Yes Grumpei, you ask an interesting Question in many parts...
Skills and abilities: Physical strength and emotional calm. Background in Law Enforcement and/or Emergency Medical Technician / Fire Rescue. Ability to think on your feet even if you're not on your feet! Rescue Diver Certified. AED/CPR Certified. Logged Dives: 50-100 Bottom Time: 20-50 hrs. (Not all Carribean clear water either!) Sports: Chess-Plan your next move before you take your first move...Strategy! Soccer-Running for physical stamina and coordination. Tai-Chi---Balance and Harmony! Free time? If I would get off the computer and go dive a little more often!!
