Freediving Wazee
I got an email a week or two ago from some British Freedivers who were coming to Wisconsin to work for a month on hteir PHD's. THey wante dto know if there was any freediving that could be done in this area.

I took them up to Wazee on SUnday, we missed you Fred, and plaed around all day long. They were pretty blown away by the clear water and the warm surface temps. I guess that the quarry they train in back home just goes black as they get deeper. They really liked how Wazee opens up as you past the murk layer at 70'.

Surface temp was 73 degrees and the many training ropes made for some nice deep dives. One of the divers, Lisa, even broke her own personal depth record by 15'! She made it to 105' and was pretty darn happy about it.

We swam through trees, played with turtles, scouted for fish in the many cribs around the lake. We even got to hit every boat landing as we made our way around the place.

One of the best things about freediving was that we could fit four adults along with all of their diving gear into my little Honda hatch-back! ;D When I tec-dive I need the whole car just for me- and it's packed to roof!

Another cool thing is thatthey don't charge us for diving since we're just "snorkelers". I love it!

Man...where did you find the turtle? I've yet to see a turtle on a dive. >Sad
