This sound like an excellant oppotunity. I have a Pop up Camper, and a wife and Three boys that Dive (13,15,17 yrs). I will see as it gets closer if any of us can make it. ???

I am fairly new to the board, and we all have about 15 dive in last summer. This has been very great reading, but it makes you want to put a big cow tank heater in the lake to get it thawed out, so we can Dive. :o

We have all our own equipment, and we barrow tanks from other Owatonna Dive Club Member. Getting outfitted with 5 sets of gear was a challange, I think I should have just became a dealer, for the discount. Tongue

Will keep watching as it gets closer Wink

Guess I haven't posted a set date yet.. thought I had. Definetly June 15th and 16th with afternoon 14th arrivals fine for those that want to get in a late afternoon or nite dive. Grills gonna be hot. I found some more lakes in the area, close to the cabin, that may be real good diving for shore dives. Can't wait for the ice to be gone so I can get started checking them out!!!!

Huisende, OUCH! 5 sets of gear, that $80 upgrade becomes $400......... This sport gets real expensive when you include the whole family. I am singing my son up for classes this summer, but I hadn't really thought about the money for his gear... Maybe it isn't so bad that my wife doesn't want to dive yet Wink

get together at the cabin near Perham/Vergas/Dent as we're nearing June.
...If the 14-15th doesn't work well (I know DUI is doing their thing, aren't they?), I could change the date to the 7th and 8th. I'm just thinking there will be a better chance that the water has settled by the 14th (+ it's a full moon). Last year it was quite late for some lakes to get turned. I know I posted to put the 14-15 on your calendars..and it's on mine, but nothing has to be set in stone just yet. I don't want to screw up anyone's plans if they're set on the 14th, just that I'm flexable. Either way, the waters great and there's lots of it! Any thoughts?...

Hmm...yeah I don't know Fred. I hope the majority prefer the 14th and 15th as originally planned... at least for me anyway. Wink

I'm diving Superior Memorial Day weekend and I can't do two out of town weekend trips in a row.
