Re:Sun is finally shining.. I'm outta here
Go get'em Fred!
Ted tells me that he has been emailing you about spear season in North Dakota this summer. He told me something about being able to spear walleye???? We were out spearfishing in Lake Mendota last Saturday and saw a ton of walleye, but we can't spear them in Wisconsin. :'( We also had some really great vis! 8) I took my wreck reel down and we measured out 25'+ of horizontal visibility! It was also oneof the few times I left my camera at home. :-[ Jon

Re:Sun is finally shining.. I'm outta here
This is more like a lake report.
What a great day to be in the water!! I was in two lakes, Big Cormorant - maybe 12' vis, only saw a few fish but found where a car must have gone into the water, tire iron, hub cap, floor mats, gloves, cassette tapes, someones appointment book w/drivers license and social sec. card, etc. etc. interesting anyway. Heard there were carp in Blue Water Bay, a swampy part of Big Corm. so went there - ONE foot of vis, saw several small carp as they almost hit my mask, not worth staying in. Then I went to Lake Seven... Fantastic! Fish everywhere! must have had almost 30 black bass around me, 100's and 100's of sunfish, several northerns and crappie, tons of walleye. Might have some good pics with the elcheapo Kodak throwaway. 15' vis with sediment just starting to float in the lake. Oh yeah, and several suckers that ended up being suckers. Water was warm at some over 50 degrees. Was in the water all afternoon in the 5mil. Battery went dead on the mosquito so need a battery kit for that.

Re:Sun is finally shining.. I'm outta here
Fred, I assume you grabbed the day planner. Have you contacted the person yet?

Yup, I picked out the planner and will be tracking them down tomorrow. Since I didn't find the car I take it everyone is either safe or recovered. No "fresh" auto tracks leading into the lake.
