Dang, wish I could join Jose but I won't be diving this weekend as I'm going home to visit over the Easter weekend. Let us know how your dives go with vis and water temp reports. Smile

I might stop over there and just take a look (Ore-be-Gone). I might cruise by Crosby too and check on the pits (ice check etc). I really enjoyed Ore-be-Gone last year and hope to do it again soon.

Thanks...Jean

Re:April 19 - Okoboji
Okoboji is in Iowa, very close to the MN border. It is a little over 3 hours south of the cities. Ore-be-Gone is about ten miles from Virginia, MN, northwest of Duluth, about 3.5 hours from the cities.

Here are some maps. Both are about 3 1/2 hours from the twin cities.

I was down to Okoboji last week and ddove Monday and Tuesday. Vis was around 15' and water was 45 deg, with a thermocline at about 22' and 40 deg. nice dive, lots of huge Crawdads, a few big bass, and lots of trash. picked up $3 worth of Pop and Beer cans (5 cents a peice)

It was 80 deg each day, so the water felt good, and when we got out, our suits dried int he breeze.

Nice lake!
Family of five
All love to dive, Dennie
