Re: UMSAT show
When I first saw Steve's (Arcflash) post, and saw the pic of him diving in the first cut icing hole of the day, the A-hole, (we always cut two holes) I thought it got shamelessly added to the left center side of the headliner for the show, I knew then it really paid to be saftey director, but as it turns out, it's just the way it looks in his post. Looking forward to it, especially at the Northland Inn! TRINITY

Re: UMSAT show
The GLSPS would like to remind all MNscuba bloggers to please attend the NEW Upper Midwest Scuba and Adventure Travel Show. (Former Dive Into the Past Show) A committee was formed by the GLSPS Board of Directors and decided that the show needed to have the bar raised. So the old DIP Show was re-branded to provide a platform to build a bigger better and brighter show for years to come. We have also changed the location of the show to the Northland Inn in Brooklyn Park, MN.
The speaker line up will include two National Speakers and they are going to be amazing. We also have four more great speakers presenting anything from underwater photography to a former Captain of a Live-a-board dive vessel presenting how great it is to be on a dive vacation that caters to your every need and without lifting and carrying any dive gear! We also don't want to forget about the marvalous shipwreck diving we are all noted for in the Upper Midwest since we live so close to the Great lakes region. So we have quite a variety of speakers for all of you to listen to. Please check the website at for the list of speakers we have this year. Please take a minute to read their Bio's We are also having a awards Banquet Dinner after the main show Saturday evening. It's limited to 120 people so please buy your tickets online ASAP before they sell out! Don't forget about discover scuba and re-breathers in the pool. These two events are back by popular demand. If you have someone that has ever thought about trying the sport of scuba diving, please bring them for a free discover scuba in the Northland Inn Pool. If you always wanted to know if purchasing a re-breather is in your diving future and needed to research the idea, we are having Discover re-breathers after Discover Scuba. Please invite and tell ALL your friends, Family and dive buddies about the show. You can Stay at the Northland Inn ALL Suites Hotel for a low negotiated price of $89.00 + tax. Regular price is 120.00 to 199.00. So reserve your rooms ASAP before they all book up. Please take the time to visit our website for more information on the show. You can order all tickets for the show online including advance tickets and booking your room by logging into the show website at, . Very easy name to remember! Hope to see all of you there. Re: UMSAT show
Upper Midwest Scuba and Adventure Travel Show Survey to fill out
We did it! The Upper Midwest Scuba and Adventure Travel Show was launched last weekend at the Northland Inn in Minneapolis. Many of our members gave so much of their time and energy to creating a show that celebrated the mission of the Great Lakes Shipwreck Society and honored the work of those in the dive community. The GLSPS Board of Directors extends their gratitude to the hard work of those individuals. The money raised at the UMSAT show allows us to continue our work toward achieving the Mission and Goals of the GLSPS. For those members who were able to join us on this snowy show day please know your attendance and participation demonstrated a support that is very much appreciated. In trying to evaluate and improve upon our show we'd love to hear from you about your experience. Below is a link to a brief on-line survey that should take only a few minutes to complete. If you were able to attend the show we would greatly appreciate your taking the time to complete the survey so we can evaluate the feedback and work toward an improved 2012 show. Please feel free to forward this survey to others you know were in attendance and would be able to provide their insights as well. Thank you for your time and consideration. info@umsatshow.org Guest Survey:
