I'm going to go take hang gliding lessons in Georgia in September.

Any of you hang glide? in MN? What's available for foot launch sites?

I've seen people hang gliding in Duluth. Not sure which spots they use to take off from but with much of the city built on a steep hillside and the lake down below it looks like it would be a good spot. As long as you don't land in the lake. ;D

Sounds like fun! I have always wanted to try that. For MN you could add a motor to get you to gliding altitude. Keep us posted on what you find..... Are you going there just for hang gliding? Did you find any training locally?

Going just for schooling. The training in GA looks like much better value.
