In the past there has been a detour that takes you off the freeway and though town. This takes you to the south end of the expressway to Two Harbors, from here you have clear sailing.

You'll probably be directed to Superior Street which will take you all the way through Duluth to Hwy 61 to Two Harbors. Probably expect it to be slow driving with all the traffic.

I can get to 61 easy enough, But its getting to Knife River Marina I'm worried about.

ya can can get to the marina, been working on the decc addition and trying to dive every night after work the vis right in the bay next to the marina is maybe 10 feet tho, not sure what is like by the Niagra too far to swim from shore. been alot of wind up here lately and the water is all churned up. tried diving yesterday but had 3 ft waves crashing.

I'm jealous! I work for Mortenson (the general contractor on the DECC project) and I kinda wish I was working up there just so I could go diving every night in Superior. It's the staying up there during the week, away from family, that would suck. Which company do you work for up there? Say hi to Glenn the supt from Mort for me. Good luck with the diving and the job. John, are you in one of the trades? I work for Gresser concrete/masonry. We did the concrete work on the Gophers stadium for Mortenson, but I never did work on the job.
