Lake Sylvia
Made three dive today at Sylvia. Vis was great. We estimated anywhere from 20 to 30 feet. Found some cool old fishing equipment, and two anchors.
I will definitely be making another trip to that lake to dive again. |

Re: Lake Sylvia
Here are some photos of Hydro and I at Sylvia. The photos are of the last dive we did, and are not as good of vis we had on the two previous dives.

Re: Lake Sylvia
Going to bring this topic back from the past. I moved up to St. Cloud over a year ago and getting back into the diving since moving out of the metro.
Today I dove Lake Sylvia which is just south of South Haven on Highway 55. Lake was great for diving once you made the 100 yard swim out from the boat dock. Vis was abouyt 15 feet and the diving was decent once past the weeds. Downside was getting to the dive spot. If you could get the OK from someone that lived on the lake to use their yard to dive from, it could be a great spot. It was better then hauling all the gear into the Quarry and closer to home then the mine pits in Crosby.
Human beings were not meant to sit in little cubicles staring at computer screens all day, filling out useless forms and listening to eight different bosses drone on about about mission statements.
