Re: Goose berry falls
I just returned from diving the Gooseberry beach. We did one day and one night dive...then...Hesper...

Anyway, It's got a lot of iron artifacts. Large rocks and at least one small swim in pothole. Very cool. Vis about 20 maybe a little better but still <25. Thermo at 13 ft then 47 (on that day). It's easily worth 2 dives probably 3. We went up the wall around the corner and then out and looped left.  Both very cool. If you have a scooter this is the place to use it! It's a huge field mostly 20 to 30 feet deep.

I don't know if I'll go but if the weekend isn't book I could make the 3 hour drive again.
Ask your doctor if getting off your ass is right for you.

Re: Goose berry falls
Ill be there! The visitors center is on the North end of town just South of the Burlington Bay Campground right? I'll bring 10 pounds of hamburger. How many dives do you think we can get in, 2 or 3? This sounds like a blast!

Re: Goose berry falls
Just got back from diving the Hesper and we lucked out and got a cancellation at gooseberry to camp. It rained a lot so we dove once yesterday. It was a good dive but drysuit got a little wet. Temp was 45 degrees and vis around 25 feet. Was someone there earlier giving a guided dive/fun dive? There were notes written in the slime on the wreck. We hoped to dive Gooseberry but will have to try and get up again with you guys.
