Good Evening.
Was there today water temp 40 degrees and vis about 10x15 feet. If you went straight out from the fishing pier you would have found the new thing just put there this week. bring your oars.

Dove Square on Sunday,
vis was 12 to 15.

Tried Perch on Sat but too much lightning. I did snorkle out to the end of the weeds to check vis, maybe 5 feet.

Dove Square Lake this evening on our first fun dive of the season. Temp was 54 degrees amd vis was 12-15 feet even at 6:30 tp 7:00 in the evening.

We had divers at Square this last weekend and the water temp was up to 57 degrees and the viz was still 12 - 15 feet.

We dove Square Lake Thursday May 10 water temp at 20 feet was 56 and viz is still 12 - 15 feet. It was a great evening. It was kind of funny though the air temp dropped 10 degrees while we were diving. It felt rather fresh changing out of our wet suits after the dive when before when were suiting up it was really hot.

I dove Square lake on Saturday with joshb, who was freediving, the vis was crap, about 3ft. The temp was 66 deg at the platforms so it was comfortable in a wet suit. Lots of crappies around. I think the poor vis was due to Friday nights storms. It was good to be in the water anyway!!!

Ugh! I hope it was just the storms and that it doesn't storm early next week. We're going to hit Square Lake on our way home to Milw from Minneapolis on Sat the 16th. Good to know the water is warm, sounds like we should be fine in our 7mils.

Yeah, we usually head to Wazee a couple times a summer so I was hoping to find some place new since we had to head all the way into Minneapolis. I'm jealous of all the mine pits you have to dive in in that state! Reading all the posts on those it just sounds like a blast.
