From Summer to Spring
I work up by the airport here in Duluth.  70 degrees and beautiful up there when I left work.

51 degrees and beautiful 20 minutes later down at the bottom of the hill in West Duluth.

43 degrees at Sky Harbor Airport out on Park Point...http://www.wunderground.com/US/MN/Duluth.html

Such is life by the Big Lake.  ;D

Re: From Summer to Spring
No doubt there some really extreme temperature changes on the lake sometimes.  I remember a few years ago I went golfing with my Dad at the Silver Bay Golf Course.  The temp was in the 80's with a bright hot sun in the sky.  When we left the course we stopped down at the Silver Bay boat marina and I was absolutely freezing when I got out of the car with the cold wind coming off the lake.  There must have been at least a 30 degree temperature difference.
