Google Earth 4.0
A newer version of Google Earth is now downloadable.  It was released Oct 31, 2006, and it it utterly fantastic!  Thousands of new satelite images, which are clear!  OreBGone is clear as a bell as well as many other areas which weren't before.  G.E.4 ate away about 3 hours from my day yesterday....I think...dunno for sure.... :-\

I agree.  Much better version.  Takes some of the guess work out of the different entry points at the various pits.  Just in time for me and a certain critical report I've been writing.

THANKS TO all that contributed to the site locations, depths, etc.

Re: Google Earth 4.0
Matt Karvonen from Air Down There Scuba put together a set of placemarks with Midwest-area dive locations.    I noticed that Air Down There has the biggest flag of all, but that's what happens when you put together the placemark file.  Many of the locations are rated for depth and visibility.

I don't know if you guys have already seen this, but it could be useful for those who haven't.
