Ore-be-Gone
Anyone coming up to Ore-be-Gone this weekend a little info we ran a line from the tire on the south side out to the large helicopter to make it easier to find. Will be out there myself this weekend ran low on air and had to leave my spool behind so will be picking that up and running from the twin engine plane to the other boat also See ya out there Will also be around to pump air for those who need it

Re: Ore-be-Gone
I will be in Eveleth this weekend - available to dive on Sunday.  If anyone needs a buddy, call my cell @ 952-270-2894.

I have PADI OW with 12 dives - last 2 at Lake Louise in Crosby on 8/26/06.

Re: Ore-be-Gone
We did a dive at Ore Be Gone today.  The water level is really down as seen in the photo of the beach below.  Water temp was 52F.

Re: Ore-be-Gone
I'm going to be up there next weekend (of oct. 20).  Is that already snow on the ground?!? And, how deep are most of the stuff there, I've never been there before so the more info the better.

Are some of the places marked?

What is the vis. like?

Camping?

Are there any public places close by to do a little small game hunting?

etc.

Thanks,
JOSH

Re: Ore-be-Gone
Innerspace Scuba had their fun dive/barbeque/training up at Ore B Gone last weekend.  Yan, the owner of the shop, said that one of the neighboring mines is being drained, hence the low levels at Ore B Gone.  Hope we don't go up there next summer and find it empty!

Pics of the weekend can be found at:

Was a good time, albeit a bit cold.  The German Boat/Car was a hoot.  The question arose concerning diving from such a vehicle...would PADI have a DiveCar Certification?
