Only two that I know of... Madeira & Hesper.  The Hesper (at the Silver Bay Boat Marina) is a shorter swim and you can drive your vehicle out on the breakwall and drop your gear off which is nice.  The only bad part of the Hesper is the entry point.  You have to carefully walk your gear over the big boulders and getting in and out of the water is a bit of challenge as well.  It's tricky to get a good footing on the rocks below the water.

Shooter,  You won't have any problem with either of them.

There is a charter boat going to be in Silver Bay on Thurs 20th.  They're diving the wall in Silver Bay, up to 130' and also diving the Hesper, which will be a Twilight/night dive.  5:45 PM at the Silver Bay Marina.  $40.  See the Innerspace website, click on "Calender" for more info.

Sunday, Aug 6, another boat charter, diving the Mayflower, and the Wilson, which is right out in the shipping canal...9AM.

Just a FYI

Hooked up with flyboy65 and Paul and dove the Hesper on Sat. morning. Thought it was going to be too hot for my DUI TLS 350 so I left it at home.......was greeted with 41 degree water in my 5-4-3 wetsuit! :o :o :o 8)Dove it a second time later solo and shot some video.

Acess was very easy with the concrete steps that have been added. With the exception of the swarming black flies! However after diving wet I couldn't feel them bite ;D 8). Took lots of pics will post later.

Sun dove with Jay H. with superior scuba & wreckreation on the Thomas Wilson. Met a new guy when I was diving the hesper. He hadn't dove much since getting his C card 2 years ago and wanted to dive so he came with to dive the Wilson. Vis was rather limited (10-15' )and kept the newbie in sight at all times until he corked at approx 15 min. into the dive. Could'nt reach his dump cord in time. returned to the line ascended with a 3 min safety stop to find all well and newbie on the boat. 2nd dive went much better with us both ascending slowly and completing the safety stop. I did both dives on my lp120 39% mix and had 1000lbs left. Newbie had fresh tank on 2nd dive al 80. Was shocked to see he had only 150lbs of air left :o :o
I love solo diving

I am used that kind of entry and exit. Usually add 2-4' seas, outgoing or incoming tide, slime covered rocks, with spiny urchins in almost every good handhold, with darkness looming on the horizon, and the occasional apex predator looking for a free meal,  :Smile now THAT can be somewhat challenging ;D Big Grin ;D
