Square Conditions?
The wife and I are planning on diving Square Lake on Sunday.  Any recent reports on viz and water temp?

Yesterday the Viz at Square was great (for Sqaure).  About 15 feet. Temp was 64.

I was there a couple weeks ago. Lowest temp was 54 degrees at about 24 ft. Viz was great until slit got kicked up.

You are very welcome. Did you go? If so how was it? There were a few things there that weren't there last time I went. The toilet, the phone. There used to be a sign on one of the platforms too, that I didn't see during this past visit that said "Breathing apparatus required in this area".

Family obligations (2 boys under 6) kept us home.  I'm taking Thur and Fri off to get some diving in and will report back then.  I can't wait til they're old enough to get certified!

I know that feeling Moese, one boy age 7...Wants to be a Tech Diver really bad...But would rather talk to all the ladies at dive sites than actually get in and go snorkeling!
"Air Down There" is hosting a Fun Dive at Golden Acres on Square Lake, Friday the 16th,  call or stop by the store to register (651) 482-0977.  Air fill or tank rental and dinner are included in the $7.50 (double check with the store for details in case I misquoted the price or anything) fee.  Half Price rentals on gear for fun dives too!

DQ - I gave you a call before I read this. Looks like you'll be there. I hope to see you there tonite. Can you bring the 7mm's we talked about? I'd like to try them for fit.

The wife and I made it out to Square this afternoon while the weather was still decent.  Viz was 2-5 feet at best and out at the platform on the county park side temp was 66 F. 

I sure hope conditions improve somewhat as we get more into summer...

Off to Perch Lake tomorrow with Northland Divers!!

Was out at Square early this afternoon and the viz sucked!  It's about the worst I've seen it out there...maybe 3 feet.
