Lake Sakakawea
I was in Bismark North Dakota last week on a whirl whin tour of North and South Dakota with the kids and we started talking about lake Sakakawea My friend said that it is down 40 feet due to the lack of rain in the last few years. This didn't interest me that much untill he said that thier were spires of churches sticking out of the lake from towns that had been flooded when they dammed up the river in the 1950's. This got me thinking how cool it would be to dive some of these old towns ;D
has anyone been diving any of this? any groups thinking about diving this? any one want to go dive this? Doug

Dive store is Dakota Divers, located in Bismarck. I don't have the number.... I Know that he does a lot of drift diving.
