Re:Weird Items found in local lakes.
I was teaching a class at Quarry Park in St Cloud last weekend and one of the Divemasters found a shotgun. It was a 12 ga Barretta wrapped in an automobile seat cover. The store owner is contacting the local police to see if they're interested in it. Haven't heard the outcome yet.

Re:Weird Items found in local lakes.
When I was in the keys last year, we dove the channel by my friends house in Sugarloaf key (the water was too rough to dive the reefs). We found a lever action rifle still in it's case, some fishing rods, fish nets, a fridge, and a few other items. Definitely interesting.
Last year, some of my friends found something interesting in Flynn's Quarry in Wisconsin. Check out the post by gheeres. Nothing like a nice new Dodge Durango
Everyone spends the first nine months of their life in water - the lucky ones make frequent return visits.
