If Doxie and her enterprise did not provide an accurate account of what she planned to use the GLSPS DIP show for as her intent and the GLSPS board having this new information has since seen her posting on mnscuba and chosen that it is not what the GLSPS feels appropriate for THEIR show, then each party has to live with the decision.  

Isn't it the GLSPS who made this decision, it is their right as it is their show.  A lawyer wouldn't touch that.

The official explanation according to the GLSPS website is:
"The GLSPS was made aware that a now defunct dive business advertised on another website that they intended to use our Dive into the Past Show for a liquidation sale.   GLSPS reserves the right to refuse participation into Dive Into the Past Show, activities which are not in the spirit of the show, which is to promote education about shipwrecks and history, and support good faith promotion of businesses who support us and the values we stand for.   As such, we are not a venue for a retail fire sale or "Going out of Business Sales." The GLSPS Board has therefore rescinded the use of exhibit space for this purpose.  We sincerely apologize for any problems, misconceptions or loss of expectations this may have caused."

You guys are funny.  Who are you all pointing fingers at?  It sounds pretty cut and dry that the GLSPS did not want their show being used as some flea market fire sale and that was the intent of this out of business attendee.  Obviously someone did not get their way and lost their argument.  Versus trying to rationalize an opinion on the matter and drag DIP supporters into it without accurate knowledge of the facts, the truth of the matter remains that this is matter between those two parties.
