Re:Superior Scuba Center
I was in the Duluth area in December, "killing time" while waiting for Richard to show up so we could do a dive on the Mederia. I knew the store carried Halcyon gear, so I decided to give them a call. Unfortunately, they neglected to put on their answering machine that they were closed for the weekend. But anyway, Jay did call me back on my cell and apologized and offered me a free T-Shirt next time I was in the area.

Lo and behold I was in the area on a job interview in January, so I stopped in to "collect" my free T-Shirt. Jay is a very nice person to talk to, carried a lot of the gear that I already dive with, which simply means that he has very, very good taste in gear.

His future plans seem to be leaning toward the technical end of diving, along with supporting the local divers, simply because, like he says, "When you have Superior in your backyard"? He should have Nitrox up and running by this spring, and nobody else in Duluth seems to be interested.

Jay has some good ideas and big plans. I wish him luck, seems like he is on the right track. A place I will definately visit everytime I am in the area.

Good Luck Jay!!!
