My old fin just doesn't compare to the new one. This one is so much more comfortable and gives more thrust than the old oe does. Plus, it has the right "angle of attack" when it comes to moving through the water for those of us without hyper-flexible ankles.
Size-wise they are very similar, however the foot pockets are VERY different. I can fit a 6 mm freediving sock into the foot pocket of my new monofin, something that never could have happened with my old one. THis means that my feet will be toasty warm all winter long. Jon
