RE: flatworms anyone?
When I was a kid we used to hunt deer a lot. Every time we would shoot a deer, we would gut it right away, & put a stick in the chest cavity to let it cool down right away. We would also impale the heart and liver on the branch of a sapling to keep the critters from chewing on it during the day. One time at the end of the day we went to pull the deer out of the woods, and the liver had lots of liver flukes crawling out of it. To say the least, it was nasty. That was the last time we saved the liver. When you think about it, the liver is just a big filter, and now I just can't imagine eating the filter that has collected so many things that the animals body needed to filter out.

Best to not eat organ meats, especially the liver, John's correct Confused really just a filter for toxins that collects them and then when you consume it, you add to your life's toxins. I remember reading about an Antarctica expedition that went south (sorry for that,,,and on the way out they ended up eating their dogs to survive, the only part of the dogs they could stand to consume raw was the liver. Way high in Vitamin A, (being one of the fat soluble vitamins, you can overdose on it) eventually caused the guys skin on their feet to come loose and they had to stop to pour the blood out of their boots and put them back on and keep going. Remember flukes and flucked,,,,,,,,, and Popo don't let paranoia, destroia.
Open season on the open seas,,,,We ani't stealing were just taking back,,,,call it pilage or call it plunder, were taken back from the boys down under,,,,,,,Jimmy Buffet         952-201-3029  (cell)
