The culvert is approx. 42" diameter, plenty of flow, some brush across it that had lures attached that's what I was originally after. Popo why would they grate the exit and not the entrance, just a potential clog waiting to happen. Curious if its pumped or natural grade? Another culvert close in diameter size just to the east buried under small gravel. Another concrete 2' in diameter is just a storm drain all in the same spot. Would be interesting to find the outflow/spring into Harriet, that could be penetrated, this one has strong enough flow as a siphon that you probably couldn't come back. That's what made me wonder, as the potential deathtrap it is, why its only a couple feet underwater, accessable from shore and NOT grated?
