Zebra mussell's found various location's in Minnetonka

LAKE MINNETONKA, Minn. -- Zebra mussels were seen along Big Island, Spirit Island and Gibson Bay in Lake Minnetonka. The Department of Natural Resources will be out Tuesday to see how many locations they can pinpoint. Some experts feel zebra mussels disrupt the food chain. Zebra mussel offspring are free-floating, so it takes very little effort for them to be transported either by current or in boats that haven't been cleaned properly. (Copyright 2010 by KARE.
