Lake Kabetogama

I dove Kabetogama (30 miles ESE Interational Falls) several times during the week of July 6 - 14.  Visability was poor (5 to 8 feet).  The lake level was retreating after being 3+ feet above normal.  There was no noticable thermocline (or at least very gradual) with water temp 65 degrees at 30 feet.

There are no dive shops close but we found out that the Fort Francis fire station will fill hydro-current tanks 24/7 for $15.00 per tank.
With the poor vis, we chose to catch walleye vs diving.
