well, thought I'd let you know how my season went too.. since I had time to hunt.. I didn't take the 1st nice buck I saw.. I took the second
 . Was done opening day. Not a huge deer but a fair 5x5.I butchered it on sunday, along with some family that butchered their deer.. and the deer I got was unbelievable full of fat compared to the others.. over an inch thick at the rump and fat all they way around, and layers of it. Just didn't get chased enough pre-season I suppose. Have to go harrass them a bit before season next year. Fred
