My 2 cents: The big lake can be skull crushing cold and the surge/surf isn't fun ether. What I guess I'm trying to say is it's not a nice place for a new diver. I only had 30 or so and I was maybe a little too soon and my experience was also with a group of skilled divers that gave me as much advice as I could handle. So, buddy well and try and log at least 10 in your local pond before. You'll be happy you did.

Others may disagree with me but I find it more challenging then average lakes.
