Quarry Park is Open.
Great News Folks, I just got a message from Lisa and Ed at Underwater Sports Adventure that Quarry Park in Waite Park, MN is now open for recreational divers.  Congratulations to all of you that made that happen.
This now gives us another great recreational Diving area within a hours drive of the Metro. 15 minutes if I'm driving. ;D Here's a copy of the email.   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WOOHOO! IT HAS HAPPENED! ~ QUARRY PARK IS OPEN FOR RECREATIONAL DIVING! The attached information sheet will tell you what you need to know prior to diving in Stearns County Quarry Park. We are very excited and pleased it has finally happened. A BIG thank you to Stearns County Quarry Parks and the Citizen Advisory Committee who have worked hard to make this possible.
