Friday's dive @ the Ely Wreck

July 22, 2005. wasn't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a very nice dive.

surface temp 68-70, at depth 58+, vis 25'-30'.

launched my boat from the public access and motor'd across to the wreck buoy. brought my family and my dive buddies family along in the boat. we were worried about them being bored, but my wife had brought my underwater fishing camera with the instruction that we were to tow the camera around while they watched topside. they all said it was a very cool experience.

highly recommended dive.
