Great Lakes Aquarium- volunteer divers

The city has just approved a $150,000 grant for an exhibit called "The Abyss", which from what I understand will be a saltwater display.  That's really what they need, although saltwater costs may be higher than freshwater.  We're in the middle of the continent...how many kids and adults for that matter, have seen, or ever will see, saltwater species?
