I was in Cozumel over the Christmas holiday and because the wind was to strong to go out in the boats, I shore dove the first two days.
I second AandA's recommendation for shorediving by the Coral Princess. I was amazed at how much fish and interesting coral there was along the shoreline wall. I'm a newly certified diver, so being able to just follow the wall made the diving very easy and eliminated the chances of getting lost or disorientated. Also because the max depth is around 10-15 feet and the diving very easy to access, you can dive as long or as little as you want. This worked especially good for me because I stayed at the Coral Princess. |
