Both of these pictures of the Thomas Friant are early photos that were taken when she was in the passenger trade.
The ship that lies on the bottom today looks very different.
The best photo of it currently is in Julius Wolff's book Lake Superior Shipwrecks on page 175.
The book is currently out of print as it is being updated but I thought I saw one of the old ones at GUDC.
