Hey, we had a great time at the apalooza! great weather, great camping, good folks. Finally met Jon, he's a good fellow, very knowledgeable, good buddy, and pushed his pb along with me and 2 others who were there, Jared and Jitka. Also met Ted (unirdna @ wiscuba) and his fiance Lisa, Ted maybe can hold a candle to Lisa in the breath hold/freedive department but that's about it (I think he hyperventilates too much, that's why the looooong bottom times and the near blackouts eh? :o ). Gene (allwetone) was there and got to try out some good gear for a change. I'll let Jon post more of the details.
First time I ever dove in Wazee.. .very nice. Excellent for freediving.. wish it wasn't 400+ miles from here.
Jon, thanks again for all the planning and work you did. NEXT YEAR!!
I took some 3D photos that I'll post sometime after I get them developed.
