We sure did. I felt like I was making a big mistake leaving town at 8AM while it was pouring and and there was lightning, but I kept on going because I didn't know how to get a hold of anyone who was planning to be there at that point. The rain disappeared by about the time I got to Eau Claire, there were a few sprinkles, but it turned out to be a beautiful day.
Wound up being myself, Dano, and 2 other guys I got to meet who I'm not sure of usernames on here. Things turned out good for us because we all had wetsuits and were using 80's, so it couldn't have worked out better that way. |
