Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest
Well, the weather is cooling down as are the lake temps. The season is drawing to a close but there is still plenty of time to get in a few more dives this season. One really fun way is to join us on October 25th. This is your chance to show us your artistic side as we will be having an
Yes, you read that right. We will carve pumpkins underwater! It sounds goofy, but why not have some fun before the lakes freeze over for the winter. Carve the best pumpkin you can, and maybe you will walk away with an âUnderwater Pumpkin Carvingâ Trophy. There will be some fun prizes too. Registration will be $15 and the deadline for registering is October 22nd. Entrants must bring their own pumpkins and carving tools. We also request that you bring either a plastic bag or goodie bag to collect all pieces of debris from your carving. Your pumpkins must be cleaned of all seeds and pulp prior to entering the water. You must surface with at least 500 psi in your tanks and we will be checking this. What a great way to carve your Halloween pumpkin and have a FUN time doing it! Rental gear will be available and will be free during this event. All we expect is that it is returned clean. You must reserve your gear and pick it up at least an hour ahead of time and it must be returned that same afternoon. We will have hot cocoa and warm apple cider available for you after the dive. A changing room will also be available. |
