Tri-State Diving Email News
Edition 11
Lake water surface temps. are up to 66 degrees. Checkout dives are going well and attached are some pictures of students getting set up to dive. Most of the lakes are going through turn over so vis. has not been the best. The McDonald Lakes seem to have some of the better vis. at this time. Fred Johnson has brought in the first Medallion this year and he won a Tektite Mark-Lite. Hope some of you are able to find a few to collect on some great prizes as there are about 30 still out there in our area lakes. There four divers that took the O2 provider class were Jim Granger, Mike Granger, Tracy Granger, and Ryan Sandvig. It's nice to know that there are divers are there that are trained to help other divers in an emergency situation. Our first summer advanced open water classroom is on June 20th at the dive center. Call us if you are interested or have any questions on the course Still have a couple of openings for the Truk/Yap trip if you know of any one interested in doing a dive trip next March. Just a reminder that we will be leaving the dive center about 8:30 on the 21st of June to go on the Pelican lake clean up. Hope to have as many of you along as possible to help in the clean up. We have a large variety of BCs that divers have brought in and also a number of rental ones that must go, so they are marked way down to sell. The cookie jar is on the counter for all to partake. Sea you on the bottom. |
