Grindstone Lake should be called Maple Syrup lake because that's the color and clarity of the water. At about 25+ feet, it was night diving, and even a dive light was no help.
Jose, Paul, Ed and I found a good access, geared up and found...nothing - flat silty bottom, no fish, no viz.
We may have hit this lake at a bad time, but we ended up making only one dive and calling it a day.
The food at Tobey's in Hinckley was great.

Glad to hear Lonnie and Jason had great dives in Superior.

Sorry I could not make it...WORK CONFLICT!!! (ARGGGHHHH). However , from the sounds of it , I just missed a wonderful meal...Dive was BLEEECCCHHHH.....I did get in a wonderful dive Saturday night so the weekend wasn't a total loss!!! Glad you found the lake and at least got in it!!!!
Again, sorry for the miss....
