Freshwater Jellyfish
During one of those rare high visibility ball pond dives (15+ feet) I noticed thousands of tiny puffballs hanging in the water. They were about the size of Q-tip ends. Then I noticed they were swimming by undulating their bells. I'd never noticed anything like that before so I looked them up.
This was in Daytona Beach on Indigo Lakes golf course. Has anybody else encountered these?

Re: Freshwater Jellyfish
There are Freshwater Jellyfish in Redgranite Quarry in Wisconsin. There is another quarry close to there, Flynn's Quarry, that may or may not be open for diving, but they are there too. We collected a few several years ago.
