Drysuit Training

Way back when I did my Ice diving class I dove wet. There were drysuits there to try out, which I did on my second dive of the day.
Going wet isn't all that bad if you prime the suit and have a warm place to change. Oh and have hood and gloves ;D

I'd like to try drysuit diving, but I need a size 5 Viking.  I've checked afew of the shops but none have that large for rent.  Anyone have any ideas on where I could go and find one, even non-local?

Not plugging DUI but, you can try drysuit diving in June up at Crosby.  Viking size 5 is larger than me (6'2" / 250lbs.), may want to call DUI and see if they will have one on the truck that will fit you.

I think Smith Diving has one scheduled for later this month.  Give them a call if you haven't already.

Smith Diving was still waiting for drysuits to come in when I called this past Wednesday 11/4/09, although it is still early in the month.

I just called them and they are getting suits in Dec.  Said to watch the website for class dates, plus they were getting some larger suits in, so I hope I can get some training done
