Square Lake today

Hi,
  Some of the vintage scuba divers were out at square today.
 
Vis 5 feet.
          Time to go to Door county for clear water.

I was going to ask if you were with the Smith Diving Fun Dive group....But they were in Calhoun!  On the 19th they will be at Square Lake.  Now I wish I had gone to Calhoun! :

I thought the vis. was a little better than 5 ft. at lest 10 ft. but then I don't stir up the bottom with my fins

Did a bit of diving at Square today. 78 degree water temp and surprising visability with the cloud cover. It was better than I have seen it in months probably 15 feet or so. Lots of divers and a couple of classes going on there also.

Anyone know what square is like right now?  I'm just wondering if the rain is affecting visibility.

despite all the rain all week the fun dive on friday offered respectable visibility.  i'd say it was over 10 feet.  we did learn that if you're at square lake with a group get in the water first because everyone goes to the same spots and inevitably someone will be kicking up the bottom between the dive platforms

Spent some time at Square this past weekend.  Dove it one day, and fished on Sunday.  Vis is about 3-5 ft.  Temp about 63 degrees.  Lot of medium size Crappies at the buoy farthest out from the County Park.
Get out and enjoy the rest of the nice weather before the winter sets in!

Been doing Check outs in square lake, at the county park on sat, sunday, and Monday. my guys thought the vis was great, they could read their gauges and compasses, if they held them against their. it was so much fun that it was like river diving. the water temp was 62 degrees and vis was 5-10 feet if the bottom did not get kicked up.
