Lake Mine June 17th & 18th
Anyone have some tips about the Lake Mine area? I am looking for suggestions on places to stay and things "not to miss" while diving up there. Any help would be much appreciated.

If you want to camp I would suggest the Sherwood Forest campground in Gilbert at Lake Ore Be Gone. Lake Mine is only about 7 miles east of Gilbert near Biwabik. Check this thread for some information along with a couple of pictures. Also there is a Google satellite map of Lake Mine with the dive accesses marked as well.

Sherwood is good if you can get in . Prior to the exit (1/4 mi) turn right you will find the Ely lake Verterns Camp ground there is also West Two Resevior Camp grounds 4 miles west of Virginia on 169 west heading to Hibbing. While checking out lake mine also try ore-be-gone
