BARE vs. DUI Drysuits
Anyone had experience with the DUI or Bare Trilam Dry suits? I'd like to hear from anyone who has experience with these suits. Obviously, fit is most important. From what I've learned, both are good suits. But, which is the better buy? DUI has a great reputation, and I have a Bare wetsuit which I love. If anyone has dove both that would be even better. Please weigh in if you have either of these suits.

Re: BARE vs. DUI Drysuits
I've owned both, my current suit is a DUI CF200SE that I bought after my Bare suit after 1.5 years had some much aqua-seal in it...I kept finding so many pin holes in it. I did do around 300 dives in two years but i expected more out of them than that. My DUI suit has not had any dive related holes in in two years.
I actually loved the Bare for lightness and great dump valves (Si-Tech) much better than the DUI valves. |
