Comparison of Diving to Golf

Why do people golf anyway?  Diving is fun and there's lots of stuff to see if the water is clear enough. 
I was going to say that in diving you don't keep score, but...Who comes to the surface with more air, you or your buddy?

A golfer goes "Whack"..."Dang!"

A sky diver goes "Dang"...Whack".....
