2006 goals

it the ever popular how I'm going to spend my dive season thread

personaly I plan to finish my DM training.
I would like to get 60+ dives for me + whatever I can for the shop
I also plan to upgraid my kit with a new BC and set of regs.

I did my nitrox class. I'll do the dives for that in May. I'm taking the PADI SAR specialty in July. I'd like to get Rescue Diver this Summer too. Toward Fall, I'd like to learn to dive a drysuit too. I'm looking forward to getting out and meeting many of you and getting as many dives in as possible.

For 2006 my goals are:
To get in as many dives as possible,  aiming for 100, only 90 more to go!
Take Rescue Diver class,
Take Nitrox class,
Try for Advanced Cert.

take my rescue dive in the spring and start my DM in the summer.  get wet lots ;D ;D ;D

JUST WANT TO GET TRAINING   TRAINING   TRAINING.

My goals during the next 7 months is
1.  to do at least 100 more dives.
2.  assist whereever / whenever possible   as DM
3.  take and finish the Instructor Course.
4.  Complete the Advanced Nitox,  Deco, and take a trimix Course.
5.  I want to be able to take a rebreather down to 250 plus feet with Chuck Northrup III......of course after full rebreather training.   Leaning toward the MEG.   I believe in the computer.
6.  Continue to learn from others and help support the shop.
7.  Get hooked up with the PSD divers in the area and support they're efforts.
8.  Continue to follow safe diving standards.
9.  GET THE CAMERA GOING THIS YEAR.
10..  addition.... 
I also want to measure the depth of  Louise and Joan in 5 different locations on each lake.  I've got the plan all ready to map / measure it.    FOR MY OWN KNOWLEDGE.  Because it always seems someone asks that question and most of the divers just say they don't know.  Its just an exercise for mapping.  (don't get technical on me now)
AND FINALLY....
i've given up the goal of raising a certain truck, in a certain lake, for the personal glory of saying I did it.   By the way,  I already know that I could do it, I've planned it, and I've proven that I would be successful in getting the truck up and out and salvaged,,,, in my own mind.     BUT THATS NOT TO SAY  I WON"T HAVE A PART OF IT.

Max, those are awesome goals.

1. Stick with me. 100 dives is a drop in the bucket.
2. being a DM is way cool.
3. All we have to do is "pay the money"
4. This is a lot to bite off. maybe postpone tri-mix
5. That has to be next year. considering all you've allready bit off.

Yea,  thanks Chuck,  I want to make sure I reach my goals.   So..  the additional dive goal of 100 plus was set so that I could reach it by midway thru the 7 months. Barring any unforseen interuptions in schedules etc.   

ROGER THAT ON THE PAY FOR THE INSTRUCTOR COURSE. I got you .......    Has a date  been set for the May time yet.   ALSO,  did you get your book yet?
